Why Instant Messenging?

You’ve seen how exciting and massive the online games and social networking markets are... now add into the mix the delivery of these platforms through a web-based instant messenger (IM)!

The benefit of IMs is their ability to list all of your contacts, see when they are online, and send them short “chat” messages that pop up on their screen INSTANTLY, as soon as you send them. So it’s like having a text-based, live conversation.

You will probably have heard of some of these:

  • Windows Live Messenger: 155 million total users (April 2005)
  • Yahoo! Messenger: 22 million users (September 2006)
  • AIM: over 100 million total users (January 2006)
  • Jabber: 90 million users
  • ICQ: 4 million active users (September 2006)
  • meebo: 1 million users (October 2006)

More than half the UK population regularly uses an IM to stay in touch with friends...

In a business sense, the advantage instant messaging has over email is that you can see when contacts are online, and you can get a message to them immediately. With email, they have to be running their email application, and even then there may be delivery delays, or they may not check their email very often. You never know whether somebody has got your message. There are also all the junk-mail and “spam” filters that make delivery of your email unreliable!

Because of all of its advantages, instant messaging is set to be the fastest-growing communication medium in history; it is growing twice as fast as email did.

With uVme, you not only get an IM, but also it can automatically collate all of your contacts from various programmes such as Yahoo! Messenger or Windows Live Messenger, AIM (AOL’s IM) and Google Talk, that you may be using...

...AND IT IS WEB-BASED!

That means that instead of being a standalone application that people have to download and install, this IM runs live on your uVme web page. Instant messaging has never been used like this before.

How will it all work?

As soon as anybody goes to your web site, they will automatically be logged in to your IM. Even if they are not a member, they will be logged in as a “guest”, and will appear to you as an online guest who is looking around your site. You can then instantly greet them and offer to answer any questions they may have…and challenge them to play a game, which helps them to fully understand the business!

And because all of your existing contacts from other IM clients are added, you have a ready-made rolodex of potential business partners that you can invite to play games, instantly!

Even better, you will be able to use this tool wherever you login, from anywhere in the world — on any computer in your office, Internet café or a friend's PC — and so can all of your business partners! Because it is web-based, it bypasses pitfalls such as not being able to download or install software on public/office computers. Wherever the web can be accessed, so can your business!

Being able to play live and INSTANTLY is very powerful. Imagine how much easier it is to ask someone already on your site to play a game then and there! No phone calls or emails are necessary... and there’s no chance of missing people who aren’t around when you try to contact them. You can even send group challenges to hundreds — even thousands — of people instantly via this tool.

IT’S ABOUT INSTANT GRATIFICATION!

People have come to expect INSTANT GRATIFICATION in the modern world, and why should your business be any different?

Not only will it be a powerful communication tool, but also it will allow you to play games and make money faster – and build your business for you. You can see what your visitors are looking at and what they respond to.

PLUS, you not only have an instant business tool, you also have live customer support! Think about it…larger companies’ web sites now offer a technology called “Live Assist”, where customers can engage in live chat-based customer support. For this, you would normally have to pay a fee of at least USD$30-$70 per month for the technology, and then you have to provide the staff to answer questions 24/7! But with uVme, there will be a member of your "upline" online at any time, as it is in their interest for you to succeed; in effect, they act as your live customer support!

Check out the messenger NOW: it’s on the right of your screen...with somebody waiting at the other end for you to say HELLO!

Why Social Networking?

Integrating social networking gives your business the power to spread virally, around the world.

You can see on the “Why Instant Messaging?” and “Why Online Games?” pages just how huge this market is, and how fast it is growing. But there’s another powerful hook in your new business: its social networking aspect.

What is social networking?
It's online communities such as “MySpace” and “Facebook”, where people add their friends, post photos and entries in the form of a blog, “network” based on shared interests or likes/dislikes, and interact with each other. This phenomenon is also growing staggeringly popular. MySpace currently has 176 million users. And Facebook, now the 18th-most-visited web site in the world, did not even exist until three years ago!

Social networking has been called “The reality TV of the Internet”; and analysts predict it will continue to grow massively rather than being just a passing fad.
A Nielsen//NetRatings report in May 2006 stated that social networking sites were already last year being used by 45% of web users, and traffic to these sites increased 87% over the last year.

People just love collecting their online contacts in one place, and sharing their opinions! Like blogs (short for “weblogs”), publishing diaries and expressing opinions in an online forum holds a very powerful attraction for us.

According to Technorati, there are over 70 million blogs on the Internet, with about 120,000 new ones being set up each day. That’s 1.4 new blogs every second!

Plus, the interactive nature of social networking sites keeps visitors coming back again and again. You can probably begin to see what kind of effect a combined social networking and a global games network might achieve…it’s like a huge arena filled with millions of people in one place, all wanting to play! Imagine being able to harness this powerful medium, and even better, using it to fuel your new online games business...

Well that is exactly what you will be able to do! Not only that, but you can also automatically add all of your current contacts from MSN, Google, AIM and Yahoo! Messenger. THAT’S RIGHT … we are talking about a web-based instant communicator that allows you to send instant messages, view all of your contacts’ online statuses, social network, AND play games, all at the same time, in the same place.

To find out more about the instant messenger (IM) aspect to your business, click here. This is the crowning genius of this business, channelling the massive potential of the fastest-growing communication medium in history — that’s how big instant messaging has become!

Integrating social networking into your games site gives your business the power to spread virally. Players passing on links to your games website though their blogs and messenger will give your business enormous potential to grow rapidly as more and more players continually challenge new friends.

Your players and Associates will be able to use their own uVme blog to share experiences and communicate to all their friends. Players can earn more loyalty points to unlock even more functionality in their blog, from larger storage capacity, to RSS feeds, plus lots more. These elements usually cost on other social networking sites, but your players can access these for free simply by playing more and more games and having fun!

It gets even better... Join now and you can start developing your online community, and during the launch phase it is all FREE.

It’s YOUR turn to get a piece of the action... position yourself in front of the three fastest-growing business trends in history!

By Registering today, you will:
  • Discover a market growing four times faster than the Internet;
  • Learn how having fun, being entertained and social networking can earn you money!
  • Be one of the first to learn how this powerful business, using a simple system, can earn you a fortune!
ONE in TEN people you know is doing it RIGHT NOW.

In just 36 months, that could be SIX in TEN…and whether you are cashing in on it or not, they will be there, playing games online, night and day, 24/7.

We have made it simple to join uVme and be involved. The business has been in development for over two years. A seven-figure investment has been made developing our exclusive range of games, the integrated instant messenger, Associate network software and hardware to run the whole platform. All this is now at your disposal to capitalise on the market.

The potential reach of the Internet is staggering. With broadband (and therefore quicker web access) reaching ever more homes and Internet cafés, the popularity of live interaction with other people online is exploding.

The speed of people's home Internet connections is driving this market. In America, nearly 75% of Internet users had broadband at home last year, up from 57% just one year earlier…and Internet users in India increased by 54% in just one year.

The Internet is the fastest-growing market in the history of the WORLD, but just this one sector has been growing FOUR TIMES FASTER than the Internet overall. People aren’t just using the web for information anymore; they now see it as a prime deliverer of entertainment. It’s even eating into TV-viewing figures, and therefore also TV advertising revenue. Meanwhile, in-game advertising is predicted to grow by 70% year-on-year, to be worth USD billions in three years. It’s no wonder that TV companies are scrambling for a piece of online games real estate – buying companies, launching games platforms, and putting their content online in interactive form.

Alex Burmaster, European Internet Analyst, Nielsen//NetRatings (a global leader in Internet media and market research) said, “Take the fact that the online games sector is growing at four times the rate of overall Internet growth together with the increasing numbers…online and it is easy to see why companies such as MTV Networks are looking to get a piece of the action.”

The online games sector has been identified as the next step in the evolution of online entertainment, and people of all ages, from all over the world, play in their millions. And within this sector, “casual skill-based games” rank as one of the most popular pastimes.

What are casual games of skill?

Casual games are familiar, fun pastimes such as:
  • Board games like draughts, backgammon
  • Sports games like pool, golf and basketball
  • Puzzle games like jigsaws and word games
These are played online in a tournament format, with each player paying a cash entry fee to play, and with a cash or merchandise prize going to the winner or winners of the tournament. Skill-based games are named accordingly because the outcome of each competition is based on the players’ ability and performance, with any elements of luck eliminated. This is critical, in order to be legal and avoid falling under anti-gambling statutes.

People like to play these games on their computers for a fun challenge. Playing them online against someone else adds an extra social, competitive element; and playing for cash prizes between USD$1 and $1,000 upwards makes them even more exciting and rewarding!

What does all of this mean? It means that online games are where the money is. People are willing to pay to play, and they are doing it already. Interesting fact?

…It’s much more than that. Challenging a friend to a game, “uVme”, IS YOUR BUSINESS. The more fun people have, the bigger your profit. You don’t have to worry about stocks, overheads, selling, in fact, we’ve knocked down every barrier and erased every stigma attached, replacing it only with simplicity, fun, and status. So WIN or LOSE, you will always be a winner!

But why online games?

That’s easy, the online games sector is growing FOUR TIMES faster than the Internet overall. And just think, it has grown as massive and as rapidly as it has WITH NO TRADITIONAL ADVERTISING! Online games are not advertised on TV, in newspapers, in cinemas or on billboards, yet the audience is getting bigger and bigger.

In fact, there is almost no one that is not included in this market. Worldwide, it is forecasted to grow from USD$5.2 billion in 2007 to over USD$13 billion in 2011...
In other words, USD$412 per SECOND
... every minute, every hour, every day.
... JUST BY WORD OF MOUTH.

Game networks have grown due to word of mouth. Players want to play a game with a friend or the players recommending games to other players, who in turn do the same. It’s viral.

If online games are growing this fast WITHOUT advertising, just imagine how widespread they will become now that big “Fortune 500”, blue-chip and major TV networks are getting involved.
Who’s playing these games?

Is it teenagers playing at home? Far from it. Consider this fact: the International Game Developers Association’s “Casual Games Market Overview” reported that casual gamers tend to be BOTH WOMEN AND MEN between the ages of 35 and 65, with a slight demographic skew towards women.

Again, because your business is online and “open” globally, around the clock, the opportunity is there for you to be making money 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even while you asleep. Even when you're working on your uVme business, it won’t seem like work, because you’ll be having fun playing games and socialising. There is no “hard selling”, no stock, no phone calls to make. People like to have fun, and they like to Associate with OTHERS who are having fun. And their fun equals your profit!

You see, the average skill games player spends USD$35/GBP£18/EURO€25 PER MONTH playing games.

When you consider just how many millions of people around the world are playing, that means there are “big bucks” being spent. Even in less developed countries where PC ownership is small, Internet cafés are commonplace, heavily frequented by gamers and open around the clock. They typically derive 30-40% of their revenue from people playing games online. Some of these international Internet cafés are even dedicated SOLELY TO ONLINE GAMES.

So... people of both sexes and all ages are playing these games, around the world, in all time zones. There are currently game networks with hundreds of thousands of players playing games at any one time. This means that day or night, whether you are asleep, at work, on holiday, or out meeting friends, your business keeps ticking over, and adding up.

Plus, playing games with friends and people in your social network is much more fun than playing against anonymous strangers. You have the friendly rivalry between you, and the personal relationship which we all enjoy. But now, it’s not only satisfying, fun and enjoyable: challenging friends to a game “uVme” IS YOUR BUSINESS!
